So I tried moving these folders into the ROMs folder and relaunching MacMAME. Somewhere along the way kinst.dif and kinst2.dif files showed up in the "Hard Disk Images" folder. I launch MacMAME with these in the appropriate folders and still no games show up in the MacMAME window. I use the util to verify them and am told that name size crc sha1 region offset status optional merge bios ki2-l14.u98: 524288: 27d0285e: aa7a2a9d72a47dd0ea2ee7b2776b79288060b179: user1: 0: good: no : v1.4: ki2.

I found that I was supposed to create a folder in the "Hard Disk Images" called kinst and kinst2, and put the kinst.chd and kinst2.chd files in them. So, I figured it was time to RTFM, I read through all of the documentation in the documentation folder, have searched this forum, and read on a couple of other web sites. Then the MacMAME window opened and no games were listed. NOTE: You will still have your 'kinst' ROM in the 'roms' folder (like any other game). Use WinZip (8.1) to extract the last of those CHD files (which is a zip file) to the folder that it is in. cd over to wherever your chd is (instructions here to make a chd, or just find one online.) 10. Doesnt need its own folder but the rom.zip name must match the chd.zip name. Ya chicos por fin aqui esta el Rom que estaban esperando el del killer II para mame32.
I'm not a regular MAME user but attempted to try playing Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2. If you use a separate CHD folder just add it to your mame.ini file.
